WASHEtheChildren

This blog shares experiences from 14 WASH trips (view the older posts for Africa, Asia, & Central America) hoping that it will encourage you to get involved in improving lives. If there is greater gratification than saving a child's life, I don't know what it is. It also attempts to share lessons learned.

About Me

WASHED children
Denver, Colorado
It is hard to believe that the impoverished don't understand that drinking unsafe water, not washing their hands or not practicing safe sanitation is usually the root cause behind their frequent illnesses and even death. Choosing to make your life significant in stead of merely successful by giving children SUSTAINABLE hope and health is the most gratifying experience a person can ever have. It is also surprising that educated people don't realize that Alzheimer's, cancer, diabetes and a host of other problems are usually due to eating the wrong food -- read Eat to Live or GrainBrain.
